I didn’t get the results I was hoping for during my first week on 131, but to lose almost 2 lbs even with all the unplanned eating out, that’s a testament to the plan! Just please disregard the first thing in the morning feet. I need a pedicure lol.
I had my usual trivia went out with my coworkers for dinner and a movie on the Tuesday and worked really long hours all week so I didn’t eat as well as I’d like for dinners.
That’s ok. I just need to plan better this week, and I did. I have my pork tenderloin ready to go for 3 lunches and thawed some sausages out so I have them ready when needed. Going to go into the week better prepared!
Other than trivia tomorrow and having a fajita night with some friends on Wednesday, I should be okay to stick to plan this week. And as Chalene says, you shouldn’t aim to be perfect all the time. This 131 program is not one size fits all and you just have to do what works for you and do better the next day if you slip up.
I am happy to be headed in the right direction at least. And I have set up a budget too that so far I’ve been sticking to.
Of course life is what happens when you’re making plans, so it turns out I will need to buy new snow tires come winter. Not impressed with the second-hand car. Never doing it again! As soon as my credit card is paid off I might look into a trade in.
I also decided to sign up for the WordPress event happening here later this summer. I am really enjoying the blogging and want to continue. Hoping that you guys seeing my progress can help you in some ways too.
Anxiety – Fear of Abandonment
I had some anxiety when it came to my friends this week. I just can’t shake these fears of abandonment. This is a new goal. I really need to find ways to not fear being alone in future. Right now I am ok, and that’s what matters and what I can control. I feel sometimes like Chandler from Friends, and that every fight or argument equals a breakup lol. And it’s not healthy.
